Mindful Strength: Kathryn Bruni Young
Mindful Strength is a combination of movement modalities including yoga, pilates, mindfulness, strength training and acrobatics. Kathryn’s approach is inclusive of all bodies, and includes many movements that empower students to develop their own strength in a progressive way. Its not about fancy tricks, its about learning how the body works and moves, while highlighting different poses such as arm balances, squats, standing poses and more. If you are interested in learning how to actually develop strength, over time in a system that takes the whole being into account this workshop is for you. Students will walk away with the skills to practice at home, and sequence more strengthening movements into their individual yoga and movement practices.
