Join Jo from Moksha Yoga Kingston and Amanda, dōTERRA Wellness Advocate, to learn techniques to manage pain symptoms through the natural healing powers of essential oils and yoga.
Amanda will begin with education on various oils that support pain management, reduce inflammation, improve circulation and encourage muscle recovery. Jo, who manages her own chronic pain through yoga and oils, will then lead you through a 60 minute hot Yang/Yin style practice to first encourage movement in the joints, followed by restorative postures for recovery. This class will be very accessible to all, focusing on poses and movement you can even do at home. You will leave with techniques to soothe the mind and support the body, along with a few oil samples.
Amanda is a dōTERRA Gold Wellness Advocate who has always had a love for teaching and natural health. While teaching in the Middle East and observing health practices in different cultures, Amanda felt inspired to combine her two passions into one. It was after moving back to Kingston, when dōTERRA found its way into her life. The oils had such an impact on her life, that she naturally started sharing their benefits with friends and family. Amanda is passionate about holistic health and empowering others to seek out natural solutions. Jo is a certified Moksha Yoga teacher trained in Moksha Flow, yin, and yang/yin. Jo has always been physically active and found yoga as a way of treating chronic pain while easing the mind and strengthening her body. She is passionate about sharing the many amazing benefits yoga can have by providing all inclusive classes with a positive and fun energy.
